Snapdragons

I love snapdragons. They are so much fun. When you squeeze lightly on both sides, they open their mouth, which resembles a dragon's mouth. Rumor has it that this is how they got their name.

As they come up every year, they interbreed with each other and the colors all get mixed and matched. So it is a bit of a surprise what colors we will get to see. This year, we had the butter popcorn:

There was a great ketchup-and-mustard colored flower, but I missed taking the snap when it was blooming. Here is the next best thing:
